Visually inspired by warm vintage and nostalgic tones, my wedding film style leans towards curated candid cinematography capturing authentic tender moments, straight-up silly sauce celebration and all in between. Many video folks enter the video world doing weddings, but my background is more traditional filmmaking and cinema with deep understandings of visual storytelling. Your film will be re-watchable, and will be full of motion, emotion, action, reaction, character-filled, easter-egg-filled, and celebratory awesomeness. It’s never just beauty shots.
The creative process begins with learning your story and the little things that are distinctively you. I've found that I have an intuition for people through what moves them and so, I'll often ask couples to share their favorite music or movies with me. My top priority is to keep your day special and so, I will work with you to make sure that you can be present to party.

That’s not a typographical error. When the cameras are all packed up at the end of the day, the work continues in the artfully meticulous process of editing, or as I call it, “wedditing” — sifting through hours of footage, selecting the best moments, listening through the speeches, researching soundtracks like a DJ and shaping it all into a cohesive film that you’ll love and be able to revisit years down the road. It’s never been my aim to “go viral”. You are the priority. It’s your film, your life, and your moments to remember and celebrate — How you share is up to you! I’m always working hard to make sure your film has a long shelf life that’ll grow with you beyond what’s trending today.

“David is the BEST! We had our wedding during COVID, so it was a socially distanced ceremony + a live Zoom stream. David worked through a lot of technical issues - ensuring we had a steady internet connection in the public park where the ceremony was to take place, making sure the sound was clear and crisp, and familiarizing himself with the platform - to make sure folks tuning in to the live stream felt as close to being there in person as possible. Before the event, he met with my then-fiance at the venue to scope it out and figure out the setup he would need, and he participated in a technical run-through with our Zoom admin to make sure everything would go smoothly the day of. All his hard work paid off, as we heard GREAT feedback from the guests who watched the livestream - "best Zoom wedding ever" was a common refrain. I watched the recording a couple of weeks later, and it was indeed awesome: sound was clear as a bell, and David switched back and forth among multiple camera angles during the broadcast to make sure the remote guests got the best experience possible. Not only did David pull off an amazing livestream, he also produced a fantastic edited video for us.
